"Journalism has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy getting to know people and I see television as a platform to tell their stories. Tri-Cities is an entirely new environment for me, making it exciting to learn, which I hope will only make me a better reporter."

Lida Alikhani joined Your Local ABC as a Reporter in June of 2013.  

Lida grew up in Los Angeles, California where she attended Cal State University Northridge and graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism in May of 2013.   Lida worked as a Production Assistant for ABC Network News during her last year of college working on shows like Good Morning America, World News with Diane Sawyer, 20/20 and Nightline.  

Prior to that, Lida was an intern for ABC, she also interned for CNN in Atlanta, GA and WCBS in New York City.   Lida is excited to learn more about the Tri-Cities and surrounding cities in order to tell people's stories.
