Low-income households in Upper Yakima County (North of and including Union Gap)will be getting a break from costs of heating their homes this winter.

To apply for funds, go to the Super D Bingo Hall at 1414 S. 3rd Avenue in Yakima.

First come first serve appointments will be available on December 1st from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and December 2nd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

When the funds run out, remaining households will be put on a waiting list in case the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) receives additional funding.

You will need to bring your most recent electric or gas bill.
