On January 11 the Larson Gallery will open an exhibit of the works of Dr. Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield. Dr. Pepin-Wakefield taught art at Kuwait University's College for Women. Her artwork that will be featured in the exhibit Abaya and Beyond illustrates her interpretation surrounding the traditional dress of the Kuwaiti women, such as the hijab, abaya and nigab. The event is free and open to the public
