In collaboration with the Mid-Columbia Library, Vista Youth Center is hosting the first Diversity Film Festival on May 9th, 16th and 30th at 6pm at the Kennewick Branch on Union.
The event is free and open to the public.
The three selected films, all Oscar winners or nominees, highlight topics of power and oppression, race, and transsexual issues. Following each film will be a panel discussion, facilitated by a moderator from the Reflections Café or the Dispute Resolution Center.
The series will run May 9th, 16th, and 30th starting at 6pm each night at the Mid-Columbia Library Kennewick Branch, 1620 South Union Street, Kennewick.
