New Murder Charges in of Death 20-Year-Old Walla Walla Woman

A man originally accused of assisting with the murder of a 20-year-old Walla Walla woman earlier this year is now formally charged with first-degree murder by complicity.

Andres Torres-Rodriguez is accused of ordering 17-year-old murder suspect Carlos Valdez to shoot and kill Yesica Olivos for owing him an ounce of methamphetamine.

Torres-rodriguez is also charged with conspiracy to committ first-degree murder and rendering criminal assistance.

He pleaded not-guilty to all charges.

Breanne Rutherford pleaded guilty to rendering criminal assistance, she is expected to testify against both suspects in court.

Olivos' body was found in January on Frog Hollow Rd. in Walla Walla County.
