Family of Six Rescued on the Cle Elum River

A family of six is back home this morning after being rescued from the upper Cle Elum River.

Sheriff's Official responded to a call from members of the group late yesterday afternoon who were swept down the river.

The Swift-Water Rescue Team launched one of their jet boats and found the family in the middle of one of the worst log jams in the county.

The adults and four small children were pulled onto the rescue boat and reunited with friends.  No injuries were reported.
