Dozens of people gather at Performance Park in Yakima this afternoon to take a stand against racism.

The second annual Stand Against Racism was held before a crowd of several dozen supporters -- it's meant to raise awareness of racism in the community.

The event is put on by the YWCA, and features guest speakers who shared their stories of prejudice with the public -- and dreams of one day living in a world without racism.

"That's our goal; is to give everybody an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams," said Pastor Robert Trimble, "A person without a dream has no future."

The event is held nationwide on the last Friday of April by the YWCA.
