Narrative
  Yakima Fire Fighters responded to a reported structure fire at the 1500 Block of South First Street. Upon thier arrival, initial units found heavy black smoke emitting from the south end of the building. Crews aggressively forced entry from two overhead doors on that south end and found fire, heat and smoke conditions inside the building.

The fire was quickly extinguished, allowing some on-scene units to clear for a second structure fire nearby.

No firefighters or civilians were injured during this fire.

  The cause of the fire is undetermined and will remian under investigation at this time. No causes of this fire have been ruled out time.
What was the extent of the damage?
  The fire caused heat and smoke damage to the interior of an attached garage/storage area. There is an early estimate of $80,000.00 damage to building and contents.
