Two Men Sentenced for Multiple Property Crimes in the Hermiston Area
Two men are sentenced for multiple property crimes in the Hermiston area.
24-year-old Jeremiah Ayers was sentenced to 9 years and 2 months in prison after pleading guilty to committing numerous crimes between September and December 2013.
A Umatilla County Grand Jury indicted Ayers in two different cases in December 2013. In April 2012, he plead guilty to one county of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, one county of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, one count of Aggravated Theft in the First Degree, two counts of Theft in the First Degree, two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and one count of Possession of Methamphetamine.
And 21-year-old Zachary Bartz was sentenced to 72 months in Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to numerous crimes committed between November 2012 and May 2013.
He plead guilty on March 20 to three countes of Theft in the First Degree, one count of Burglary in the Second Degree, and one count of Burglary in the First Degree. He was sentenced yesterday.
Bartz was convicted for burglarizing several local businesses, stealing guns from a car, and burglarizing a local business.
