Pendleton School District receives $334,000 grant
The Pendleton School District receives more than a quarter of a million dollars to help teachers improve their effectiveness in the classroom.
The Oregon Department of Education gave the school district $334,000 as part of the Oregon School District Collaboration Grant Program.
The money will be used to create more opportunities for teacher evaluations, professional development, different leadership/career pathways and different compensation models.
The grant money will be used through the 2013 - 2014 school year.
