Job seekers pack WSU Tri-Cities for career fair
Community members and college students who are searching for jobs pack Washington State University Tri-Cities today.
The college held a career fair this morning and afternoon.
Nearly 50 companies looking to hire employees were there passing out job applications and answering questions.
Many students say the job market is difficult right now, so they say they need to stay optimistic and confident if they want to find a good job.
"Feeling positive really helps keep the attitude good. It helps keep me open for opportunities that I might not see otherwise" said Andy Jensen, WSU Tri-Cities student.
During the career fair, students also attended several workshops about job search strategies, resume tips, and how to have a successful interview.
