Daniel Woolem Hearing

The Yakima County Prosecutor's Office is in hot water again.

A judge appointed a special prosecutor today to help investigate reports of eavesdropping by the prosecutor's office on phone conversations between an attorney and his client, Daniel Woolem, who is accused of drug dealing.

Prosecuting attorney Jim Hagarty filed a request for the special prosecutor earlier this week, claiming members in his office used his username to access those calls.

A similar issue was brought up in the Kevin Harper triple murder case, which ultimately cost the prosecution the case.

Hagarty and members of his office have been summoned to testify at a hearing on Monday.
