Two Arrested for Attempted Murder In Yakima Realtor Assault
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office arrest a man and woman for attempted murder in connection with the assault of a 78-year-old Yakima realtor.
Last Friday, detectives arrested a 28-year-old man and then today, a 38-year-old Yakima woman was arrested. Both suspects were linked to the case through numerous interviews and cell phone records.
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office will not release or confirm the names of those arrested as they have not been formally charged.
Holbrook was assaulted back in May while showing a home in the Cowiche/Tieton area.
Detectives say the most recent arrests are indirectly related to the assault as two other people, Luis Gomez-Monges and Adriana Mendez plead not guilty to attempted murder charges in June.
Holbrook was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after having his throat slashed.
He has since been released.
