Boise Plant in Wallula to Change Hands
Employees at the Boise paper and container plant in Wallula will soon be working for a new owner.
Packaging Corporation of America has entered a nearly $2 billion dollar agreement to acquire Boise by year's end.
A spokeswoman for Boise says the majority of employees at the various locations Boise owns and operates, including the plant in Wallula, will see little if any change.
Packaging Corporation of America sees the paper and container manufacturing business that Boise runs as a key asset to its acquisition.
