Local Power Outage Updates
All power is restored, expect for a few customers in the McNary area, just north of Umatilla
-From Franklin PUD-
As of 2:30 a.m. Monday, September 16th, 2013, Franklin PUD has restored power to all of Connell, Kahlotus and Ringold and most of Pasco expect for approximately 77 customers. This area is north of Smith Canyon, around Elm Road which includes a few residential and mostly irrigation loads, including one dairy. This area was hit with very high winds and we are working to restore about 22 transmission poles that were torn down due to the storm last night.
Our line crews have been working since last evening around 7:30 p.m. to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
Be extremely cautious and do not touch or go near any downed power lines.
We will continue to post updates until the power has been fully restored.
If you have an emergency, please dial 911.
