Umatilla Electric Cooperative Customers Experience Power Outage
Umatilla Electric Cooperative says hundreds of customers in northeastern Oregon are experiencing a power outage.
The utility company says the outage is the result of a broken transmission pole.
Crews are busy working to restore service, althought a specific time as to when service will be restored is not known.
The cooperative serves areas west of Boardman in Morrow County and covers much of Umatilla County, including the cities of Hermiston and Pendleton.
