Pendleton Round-Up to hire first paid executive
The Pendleton Round-Up, now 103 years old, plans to hire its first paid executive.
Oregon's largest rodeo is organized as a nonprofit and managed by 17 directors, with more than 1,400 community volunteers.
The Round-Up association plans to hire a full-time, year-round general manager who would also work with the Happy Canyon, the stage show put on in in conjunction with the rodeo.
The general manager will report to an executive committee with members from both boards.
