Original story:

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects in connection to a homicide that took place outside of Selah yesterday afternoon.

Deputies say a man, identified as 54-year-old David Johnson was found injured from an assault just after 3 p.m. at Harlan Landing park -- a woman he was with called police.

Johnson was taken to Yakima Regional Medical Center, where he died shortly after.

An autopsy reveals Johnson died from blunt force trauma to the head with a rigid object.

One man says he was shocked to see crime scene tape in the area this morning, and couldn't believe someone was attacked in broad daylight.

"I come by here a few times a year, over 14 years, this isn't going to stop me from coming," said Douglas Hannon, "But it's disconcerning to know that somebody just died here yesterday, and I feel for him and his family."
