Students March For Gay Pride
About two dozen students from Central Washington University march the campus to show their support for the university's gay community.
It's put on by a student group at the school to signify the start of Pride Week.
Students waved signs and wore shirts that showed their support for the gay female community.
Group members say they have been preparing pride week all month -- which is held every year at the university.
"A lot of times I feel like on university campuses, we get wrapped up in the politics and kind of get shut down a lot," said CWU student Nikki Cook, "This is our chance, this is pride week, it's our chance to go big or go home. This is our week and we're taking it back."
