Suspicious Fire Damages Goodwill Store in Sunnyside

Fire investigators say a suspicious fire damaged portions of the Goodwill Store in Sunnyside early yesterday morning.

The fire, which started in a dumpster, quickly spread to the rear portion of the building and into an area where donated goods are processed.

The store, which is located on the 2800 block of East Lincoln Avenue, will be closed for the next four to five days to allow crews to clean up the mess.

The processing area, however, is expected to be closed for about a month.
