Benton City mother accused of manslaughter expected to plead guilty
A Benton City mother accused of being responsible for her one-year-old daughter's death is expected to plead guilty next week.
Wendi Finkbeiner-Setzer is charged with second degree manslaughter.
Investigators say back in November 2012, she left her daughter in the bathtub to work on the computer.
When her teenage son stopped in the bathroom to check on his sister, he found her face down in the water and not breathing.
Finkbeiner-Setzer's attorney says he is working on a plea deal with the prosecution.
He expects the deal to be finalized next week.
