Judge modifies Ryan Graichen's sentence
A former Portland police officer sentenced to 10 years in prison last year for offering alcohol and drugs to minors so he could video tape them for sexual pleasure, will be able to have contact with his children.
When Ryan Graichen was sentenced in January 2012, he was ordered to not have any contact with minor children.
This morning, Graichen's attorney asked a superior court judge to modify his sentence so he could have contact with his own children, and the judge agreed.
In October 2011, Graichen pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, three counts of attempting to engage in sexual conduct for a fee and two counts of paying a minor for sexual conduct.
Graichen did not appear at today's hearing.
