Navy Releases Victim's Names in Monday's Plane Crash

The Navy has identified three crew members who died when their plane from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island crashed in Eastern Washington on Monday.

The three killed were 34 year old Lt. Cmdr. Alan Patterson from Tennessee, 26 year old Lt. JG Valerie Delaney from Maryland, and 24 year old Lt. JG William Brown McIlvaine the Third of Texas.

The twin-engine Prowler crashed Monday in a field about 50 miles West of Spokane.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
