Man Shot by Police Pleads Guilty as Part of an Alford Plea
A man who was shot and seriously wounded by police outside a Yakima Bank of America pleads guilty to a reduced assault charge as part of an Alford Plea.
Via that plea 26-year-old Raymond Faucher admits that there was enough evidence to convict him of the original charge of second degree assault had the case gone to trial.
Instead, he will be sentenced to 30 days of home detention for third degree assault.
Police say Faucher was shot several times after waving a gun in front of the bank.
