Immigration Rally

Dozens of immigrants are rallying in Downtown Yakima tonight for immigration reform.

It's part of a statewide bus tour put on by One-America.

The tour is taking members of the "Keeping Our Families Together Campaign" on tour across the state to meet with local families.

The tour is also urging Congress to push for the legalization of undocumented immigrants and provide a path to citizenship.

"A reform is much needed right now because it is not only a political issue, it's a family issue and a community issue," said Elizabeth Lara, "It needs a resolution now. Many people are getting deported every single day, and that needs to stop now. We have to keep families together, because they deserve an equal opportunity to the American Dream."

The bus tour's next stop will be in the Tri-Cities tomorrow night at 6 -- a location has not yet been determined.
