Aguilar pleads not guilty to manslaughter charge
A man charged with first degree manslaughter in the death of a nine month old Richland girl pleads not guilty.
Jose Luis Aguilar made his first court appearance in Benton County yesterday.
Aguilar is accused of being responsible for the death of Serenity Reedy, who was found dead in her crib by her mother Jennifer, earlier this month.
Aguilar was Jennifer Reedy's live-in boyfriend.
His bail is set at $1 million, and his trial is scheduled to start August 5th.
The Benton County coroner says Serenity Reedy died as a result of abusive head trauma.
