It's opening night of the Northwest League Season for the Dust Devils at Gesa Stadium and they're setting up for the big game against the Vancouver Canadians.

Dust Devils General Manager Derrel Ebert is excited about the game.

There is a lot of work that goes into this special night that jump starts the season.

From touching up the paint on stadium railings, to spray painting lines for the coaching box and putting together concession stands, crews are busy with the final touches before the Tri-City Dust Devils can take to the field to do what they do best.

Pretty soon Gesa Stadium will be filled with cheering fans.

Ebert says watching people fill the seats makes it all worth it.

"We're so excited. Doing this all off-season, this is what we live for. This is what it is all about and I give you the analogy, it's a lot like a wedding and there's so much anticipiation that day. You know everything's going to happen but ready or not here it is and we're just going to have fun with it and be excited," says Ebert.

Ebert is also excited about the new coaching staff that has been working with the team as they get ready to take on the Vancouver Canadians at 7:15 this evening.
