Kids pack Lampson Stadium for football camp with Seahawks players

About 300 kids pack Lampson Stadium in Kennewick today for a football training camp with some players from the Seattle Seahawks.

The 7 - 14 year-olds met players and got autographs this afternoon.

The Seahawks players also talked with the kids about self-improvement.

Some of the adults at the event say this is an experience these kids won't forget anytime soon.

"Anytime you get to meet your hero face to face, and watching the different players joking around with the kids and putting them on their backs and dumping water on them, that's a lifetime experience. They will be talking about this when they're old men" said Bill Templeton, Kennewick High School football coach.

Some of the Sea Gals were at the event today, and so was Blitz, the Seahawks mascot.
