Police Find Backpack Believed to Contain Evidence in Snapp Killing

Richland police tell us that with the help of a local diver law enforcement has found what is believed to be the backpack thrown into the Yakima river by Josh Hunt and John Young on July 4th after the two allegedly shot and killed Joshua Snapp.       

In Hunt's arrrest affadvait he told police that after Snapp was killed, he and Young drove to the Benton City Conoco, put their shoes and the gun reportedly used in the killing into the backapck and threw it into the river.         

Law enforcement is now waiting on a warrant to open the backpack and see what's inside. We're told that will most likely happen tomorrow
