Knife Attack Victims Released From Hospital
A Union Gap couple is released from the hospital today after a vicious knife attack yesterday.
It happened on the 2100 block of South 4th Avenue -- police say 35-year-old Emery Brasker got into an argument with his brother's girlfriend.
Officers say Brasker then took a knife and cut the woman's throat, and stabbed his brother in the face when he tried to intervene.
Police found brasker a few blocks down the road.
"It's just mind-boggling that it could happen down the street from you; something so violent," said neighbor Mina Gasca, "We live in a peaceful neighborhood most of the time. Kids play right next to where it happened -- it makes you a little concerned as a neighbor."
Brasker was booked into the Yakima County Jail, he'll be in court tomorrow.
