A Grandview teenager who was hospitalized after a fatal car crash in Benton County earlier this month appears to be improving.

17 year-old Jovannie Razo's condition has been upgraded to "satisfactory" from "serious" at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Razo was driving on Evans Road on January 8th, when he lost control of his car and crashed into a tree.

16 year-olds Kevin Lopez and Carlos Ochoa, who were passengers in the car, died.

All three teenagers went to Grandview High School.

Benton County sheriff's deputies believe Razo was speeding.

The Grandview Booster Club is holding a chili feed fundraiser for the families of the three teenagers tomorrow night during the varsity basketball games at Grandview High School.

The first game starts at 5:45 PM.
