Yakima Council Votes To Remove Car Tab Measure From April Ballot
The Yakima City Council decides to remove a car tab fee measure from it's April ballot.
The council voted to not hold a special election, in order to save money and give voters more time to look over the issue.
The council is going to decide whether to place it on the primary ballot in August, or the general election ballot in November.
The measure is asking voters to approve a 30 dollar car tab fee, which would be used to repair city roads.
The council will decide which ballot to place the measure on at its next business meeting.
