Yakima City Council May Move Car Tab Fee Ballot To August
The Yakima City Council will meet tomorrow to discuss when a car tab fee measure will be placed on the ballot.
The city will decide whether to wait until the August Primary Election to put a 30 dollar car tab fee measure on the ballot, or send the measure to voters in April.
The city says if it waits until August, it will save the city money on a special election.
If passed, the money from car tab fees would be used to repair city roads.
The city council will discuss moving the measure at their study session tomorrow at 10 am.
