Small fires briefly shut down Ice Harbor Dam
The Ice Harbor Dam on the Snake River near Burbank is back in operation after it was briefly shut down yesterday morning by two small electrical fires.
A spokeswoman for the Corps of Engineers says fires in two electrical cabinets burned themselves out.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and there's no estimate of the damage.
Three of the dam's six generators that were operating at the time shut down.
One is back online, the other two are being assessed.
