The Canadian bus driver who was driving the bus when it crashed on I-84, killing nine people has been banned from operating a commercial vehicle in the US.

The DOT says Haeng Kyu Hwang was driving too fast for the conditions and ignored federal limits on the amount of time he could spend behind the wheel.

Police still have not said what specifically caused the east Oregon crash.

More survivors of the December 30th bus crash near Pendleton, Oregon that killed nine passengers have joined a lawsuit filed in Tacoma, Washington, by two teenage victims.

The amended complaint filed yesterday to include Mi Joo Tour & Travel's President and the driver as defendants.

The suit claims they engaged in willful misconduct.

Investigators have yet to say what caused the crash, but both the U.S. and Canadian Governments have banned the company from operating buses.

The attorney for Mi Joo Tour & Travel says black ice was a major factor in the bus losing control.
