Dayton man admits to killing his wife
A 59 year-old Dayton man admits he killed his wife of more than 30 years last May.
This week, Joseph Shuba pleaded guilty to second degree murder with a firearm in the shooting death of his wife, Suzanne Shuba.
He was originally charged with first degree murder, but he was charged with the lesser crime as part of a plea deal.
Court documents state that Suzanne Shuba was shot with a .22 caliber pistol.
Probable cause documents quoted Joseph Shuba as stating that he shot his wife because he was "tired of her".
