Jacobsen trial moved to April
The trial of a former babysitter accused of manslaughter in Benton County is pushed back to April.
Kelli Anne Jacobsen is accused of killing one year-old Ryder Morrison in June 2011.
Her trial was scheduled to begin later this month, but during a hearing today, attorneys asked for more time.
Jacobsen was babysitting the boy in Richland, when he was rushed to the hospital for a head injury, and later died.
Ryder Morrison died from blunt force trauma to the head but tests also showed that he had sustained previous injuries.
Jacobsen's trial is scheduled to begin April 8th.
