Workers Possibly Contaminated at Hanford
Ten workers at Hanford's Plutonium Finishing Plant are undergoing testing to find out if they suffered radioactive contamination.
The employees were working on one of the plant's so-called "glove boxes" removing radioactive material when the exposure may have occurred. Four workers came back positive in initial testing.
Further testing will determine the level of radioactive contamination. Contractor CH2M Hill expects it to be a very low dose, if at all.
