Final chancellor candidate comes to WSU Tri-Cities
The third and final candidate for the open chancellor position at Washington State University Tri-Cities comes to campus today to speak with students and staff.
Dr. Keith Moo-Young is the Dean of the College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology at California State University, Los Angles.
Today, he toured the Richland campus and held a forum so students and teachers could get to know him.
Dr. Moo-Young says if he gets the position, one of his top priorities will be to increase student success through student involvement.
"I have definitely the energy and the skill set from my previous experiences that I feel I really would assist in not only defining the vision, but building the local community engagement and partnership to really build a 21st century workforce for this region, the state of Washington, and for the United States" said Dr. Moo-Young.
College administrators hope to announce the new chancellor in early April.
