Voters Will Decide On Road Repairs

Voters in Yakima will decide the fate of road repairs this summer.
The Yakima City Council approved charter amendment that will mandate the city to spend 2 million dollars each year on road projects.
The ordinance takes the place of a proposed 30 dollar car tab fee that was intended to generate money for road repair projects.
People will have the chance to vote on the ordinance in August.
