Metal Roses For Your Loved Ones
Welding students at Eisenhower High School in Yakima are piecing together something more delicate for Valentine's Day.
Metal roses are being put together all week as part of an annual fundraiser for the welding club.
The roses are being sold at the school for $25, profits will go towards funding trips and activities for the club.
Students say the flowers are so popular, they've had requests long before Valentine's Day.
"It makes us feel good, because we're getting calls and stuff from all over the Pacific Northwest and Kentucky and other states," said senior Jose Faras.
Last year, the welding club sold over $3,000 worth of metal roses.
