Pasco Releases Annual Report

The City of Pasco released the 2012 Annual Report this week with highlights of 2012 and goals for 2013.

Some notable accomplishments for 2012 include:

1) The formation of the Street Crimes Unit, funded by the sales tax increase approved by voters in 2011

2) Completion of the first phase of 4th Avenue corridor project.

3) Development of a plan for a regional aquatic center.

4) Tenth straight year of decreasing of City property tax rate.

The City’s crime rate continues to remain low with an annual rate of 30 victims per 1,000 population, which remains well below the state and national averages.
