City Meeting In Final Steps Towards Airport Takeover

The Yakima City Council will take its final steps towards taking complete ownership of the Yakima Air Terminal and airport.
Council members will be asked to approve a resolution that would allow the city to execute an agreement to terminate the joint ownership it shares with Yakima County.
Yakima County Commissioners are currently reviewing a draft agreement, and will hold a public hearing on the air terminal next week.
