Morning Wreck Injures Tieton Woman
A Tieton woman is in serious condition at a hospital after being involved in a three-car crash this morning.
Washington state patrol says it happened around 7 o'clock on Summitview and Marble Road.
Troopers say 51 year old Marla Tuesley was driving east, when her car was struck by a Dodge Stratus that crossed the centerline -- a third car was also struck by the Stratus.
One person says the road was closed to traffic for a number of hours while crews worked to tow the cars -- she is glad no one was killed in the wreck.
"We've had several wrecks within about a mile here, in front of the house," said Debra Liebert, "We've had a couple fatalities already in the few years I've lived here and... it's sad."
Troopers say the other drivers were not seriously hurt and believe alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
