Kennewick Police Release Composite of Fatal Stabbing Suspect
Kennewick police have released a composite sketch of the suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing which took place as the result of a gang fight in east Kennewick late on Christmas Eve. 25 year old Gerardo Villamar Jr, was killed in the altercation. The police have also sent the two knives believe to have been used in the killing to the state crime lab for DNA analysis. The latest release from the KPD is below:
The Kennewick Police Department continues to investigate the homicide that occurred at 11:50pm on Christmas Eve in East Kennewick. With the assistance of a sketch artist from an outside agency, a composite drawing was developed of the suspect who committed the fatal stabbing.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, early 20s,light skin tone, 5'10" tall, thin athletic build, short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid zippered hooded sweatshirt with a fleece lining, baggy black pants, black “Vans” style shoes with a whitesole, a thin gold necklace, and a gold chain hanging from one belt loop to another on his right side.
There is a strong possibility that the suspect lives in, has family in,or frequents the residential area East of Washington St. in the area of 1st to 10thAve. The suspect may have gang affiliations.
He may have incurred an injury to the right side of his rib cage during the incident. He may have replaced his clothing and shoes after the incident due to possible blood stains.We have also included pictures of two knives recovered near the scene, believed to have been used by the suspect.
