Vehicular Homicide Suspect Strikes Plea Deal
A Roosevelt man pleads guilty to charges of vehicular homicide in Yakima County Court this morning.
Israel Mena pleaded guilty to two counts of vehicular homicide -- prosecutors agreed to drop a count of vehicular assault.
Troopers say Mena was driving in a car with three passengers in April of 2012, when he lost control of his car, ejecting and fatally injuring two passengers, the third suffered several injuries.
Troopers say Mena's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit -- he will be sentenced at the end of the week.
