Judge considers closed hearing request in Harper case
A judge in the Kevin Harper triple-murder case orders a June 13 hearing in response to the prosecution's request for a closed hearing relating to the status of the case.
Prosecutors requested the closed hearing after filing motions accusing Harper of breaching his plea agreement which required him to cooperate with authorities.
In October 2012, prosecutors dropped charges against Harper for the February 2011 murders of Bill and Pauline Goggin and Bill's mother, Bettye. Prosecutors decided they could no longer prove Harper's connection to the deaths.
Instead, Harper plead guilty to a weapons charge and a stolen property charge.
