Yakima Suspect

Yakima City Police report the city and surrounding areas have been experiencing a number of shoplifting incidents called grocery push-outs.

They say the suspect goes into a grocery store, fills up a cart, and then proceeds to walk right out of the store without paying. Police say in each incident, hundreds of dollars worth of groceries are stolen.

Police have released a photgraph of the suspect (seen here). She is described as a white female, around 5'5" tall, weighing about 135 pounds, in her 20s or 30s, with dark hair.  Police say she has been seen all over town, allegedly perpetrating the same crime.

The suspect vehicle associated with the thefts (also seen here) is described as a Red Ford Focus bearing Oregon plates, XVT 028.

If the vehicle or suspect is seen, please contact the Yakima Police Department or 911.
