Nation Supports Legalized Marijuana...
For the first time, a major poll shows nationwide support for legalized marijuana.
According to a new survey by the Pew Research Center, 52 percent now back legalized cannabis, compared with 45 percent who oppose it.
Pew has been using polls to survey what Americans think about legalizing marijuana since 1969, when only 12 percent thought it should be legal.
But in the last few years, national polls have shown marijuana rising in popularity.
The new survey comes on the heels of the 2012 Victories for Marijuana supporters as Washington and Colorado became the first two states to legalize pot for recreational use.
