A suspicious brush fire damages the Harrah City Hall and creates a potentially dangerous situation for people in the area.

Crews responded to reports of a fire near Harrah City Hall Friday that ignited a 500 gallon propane tank

The fire caused exterior damage to the city hall, and destroyed a small garden shed.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire and prevent the propane tank from exploding.

One person says he saw the fire start, and feared for the safety of those nearby.

"I felt very-very terrified and scared -- because you know that tank could wipe out quite a bit of this block. And city hall could have been gone. My friend Jeremy would have been gone, and his family," said Jose Reyes Jr.

Firefighters say the fire started from a pile of leaves or trash and damage is estimated at $10,000.

Investigators are still looking for the person who started the fire.
